Apple Vision Pro II The Future is here II $3499 AR Headset

Apple's long awaited mixed reality is here,starting with three and a half thousand dollars.Its going to very possibly replace the smartphone one day. Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed a pair of smart goggles that portend a post-Iphone world.Let's talk about how it works and what's good about it.

What is Apple vision pro : 

It's a pair of goggles that you wear over your eyes.The key thing that Apple’s trying to go for here is to make it look seamless.They have designed it in a smarter way, than literally any other consumer tech product on the market.

How does it work ?

The main thing you are going to be seeing on the Apple vision pro is the screen.Both of two screens are designed for each of your eyes,which can make you feel you are in the real world.Let’s give you an idea,the iphone display is pretty sharp but you would struggle even if you stare right up close to discern individual pixels on this.Well,the screen on this glasses 64 times pixel density of the iphone,that's almost impossible to even visualize. There is a reason of doing that,because when your eyes are right up next to these screens they don't want you to ever see an individual pixel.The main thing is this is not just a pair of glasses which customers buying last 10 years.Its the equivalent of not just having like a 6.5 inch screen but a screen that at all time can fill your hole vision.

Hardware :achieve the entire vision

The hardware is very good with 24 million pixels across the two screens.The R1 chip that sits alongside the M2 chip has a system-wide polling rate of 12ms. The bottom is covered with 3D sensors. 3D cameras,Lidar scanners for depth detection and more.The 3D cameras can continue to feed you a 3D view of the room you are in.Because of the depth sensors you can place your apps within these rooms.Also you will see casting a shadow on your desk or if you are streaming a movie,you will see the glow from the screen spill over into your surroundings.The headset is lined with a second set of cameras which kind of feels like the next iteration of how phones now have a rear set of cameras.

This has a few implications,it can record your eyes and use its general understanding of what your face looks like.It can project a 3D model of what your eyes are actually doing underneath this headset to the external screen.The outside of the  Apple vision pro is also a 3D screen.It will make feels like you are in present when you are doing things that are augmented reality where you can see other people in the background. But when you switch to full screen mode,your external screen will cloud over.The next thing that these internal cameras do is assisted by some tiny little IR sensors.

Experience vision with 3D:

With the help of 3D sensors you can enjoy movies like you are in a theater. Also you can capture 3D photos with the help of 3D cameras and it's a massive change.There is two cameras like front facing,they can record stereoscopic 3D. Like other VR headsets,you can also hop into a virtual cinema to watch videos as I  mentioned above.

How good is the vision pro ?

Some of the parts of this headset are actually the best compared to other headsets.Specially the eye tracking and the hand tracking but it's totally up to developers to really make it good.When come to use It's totally up to you how you use it. But that doesn't mean there aren't any downsides.First thing,there is no haptics and the second thing is this headset is pretty heavy.Other headsets that are available on market are made of plastic and Apple vision pro is made of metal.

The Battery Life

In terms of using it there comes a question,how long the battery can be ok. Well the answer is two hours,yes, you will get 2 hour battery life on the headset.Which is not that great and not that long.However,there is a USB-C port on the battery bank and you can plug that into a multiplug for infinite time.

Is the price worth it?

The vision pro will start at $3,499 and yes it's pricey. But there are several things that headset does that no other headset does.The eye tracking and the hand tracking is super good.Even if an equivalent headset came along today and did all of the same thing that apple vision pro does hardware and software wise,still it can't beat the vision pro for Apples massive ECOsystem.
